Training Information
Spring training. Part of your fees has gone to pay for
a trainer that the club hires that works with the kids usually starting
in April. The U 6 and U 8 do 4 training sessions and the U 9 through U
18 and above do an 8 week training session.

| Lisa Sammon |
| Associate Head Soccer Coach at Lawrence University |
- Lisa Sammons has served as the associate head
women's soccer coach since the 2007 season.
- Sammons teams with Director of Soccer Blake
Johnson to guide the Vikings through the tough Midwest Conference.
- Sammons, who earned a bachelor's degree in
nutrition, exercise, and physiology from the University of Minnesota in
1993, brought a great deal of prep and youth coaching experience to
Lawrence.
- Sammons, who has a national "C" license from
the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, has been the head
girls' varsity coach at Kaukauna High School and coached the Under-14
girls' Wayzata Select team, the Under-15 girls' Olympic Development
Program team, the Under-12 girls' Oshkosh United Classic team, and the
N.E.W. United 93 Boys' Premier team.
- Sammons also has served as a professional
clinician at the Eagan Soccer Camps and the Alan Merrick Soccer Camps.
- Sammons and her husband, Mike, live in Appleton
and have four children, Sheri, Nathan, Samantha, and Rylee.

- Chuck Coan is entering his third season as
part of the Sabre coaching staff. Coan was the head coach for Marian in
1999 and an assistant in 1998. Coach Coan retired from Kimberly Clark
Corporation in August 2006, where he served as the Human Resource
Manager for the Neenah South Plant.
- Coan brings an abundance of experience to the
table as he has been coaching since 1980. He currently serves as the
head women's soccer coach at Kaukauna High school and also coaches two
youth teams in the Fox Valley. He was the JV soccer coach at Kimberly
High School in 2007. Coan has other experience at the college level as
he was the head coach at Lawrence University from 1987-1996 and was the
goalkeeper coach at UW-Green Bay from 2003-2005.
- Coan is part of the National Soccer Coaches
Association of America and the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association.
- Coan and his wife, Marti have two children.
Chuck and Marti currently reside in Neenah.
